Who we are:

We are PHYSEC, a young company that puts its heart and soul into IT security. PHYSEC GmbH is one of Germany's most successful startups and one of the most innovative cyber security solution providers for applications in the Internet of Things. PHYSEC was founded as a startup at the well-known Horst-Görtz Institute for IT Security at the Ruhr University in Bochum. We protect critical infrastructures as well as electricity and water meters against hacker attacks and cooperate with international research institutions (e.g. Harvard, Princeton) as well as excellent partners all over the world. We are still a small company, but we are successful, growing and you can become a part of it.

What you will do with us:

During your training, you will work in many teams and learn many exciting tools and tricks to program customized products in close cooperation with our customers. You will gain knowledge in Linux, Java, Python, Docker and mariaDB and constantly improve it. You will conceptualize, develop and test our flagship product IoTree on the frontend and backend with the most modern frameworks of the community.

And after the apprenticeship?

Afraid of having to look for an employer again after your apprenticeship? Not with us! We invest a lot to make you a sworn team member of PHYSEC. During your apprenticeship, you will receive targeted support to strengthen your strengths and weaknesses and to offer you a job afterwards that takes your wishes and strengths into account.

Your Qualities:

You see yourself as a total nerd, you already program small programs in your spare time and you already know a little bit about Linux? Perfect! At PHYSEC we are looking for people who want to turn their hobby into a profession. Good grades in computer science, English and math are an advantage, but not a must if you can convince us otherwise. We expect you to be able to think logically and analytically. If you also enjoy programming, are a team player and have the ambition for permanent improvement, you will fit in with us. Send us your application immediately.
